It is yet another educational venture by a group of enthusiastic professionals primarily the alumni of Netarhat School under the aegis of Vidya Vihar Educational Trust (VVET) in follow-up to their 15 year old Vidya Vihar Residential School project at Parora in Purnea. It is a humble endeavour to enliven the philosophy of Netarhat School in support of Government of Bihar’s initiatives for development of Technical & other institutions of Quality and Excellence.

The promoting body of VVIT is Vidya Vihar Educational Trust. Its trustees are running through Netarhat Alumni Educational Trust an English Medium, fully Residential School, named – Vidya Vihar Residential School at Parora, Purnea with affiliation from CBSE. The school was started in 1996 and in this short span of time- it has created a benchmark for others to follow.

The alumni of Netarhat School, the Gurukul of modern India, are widely acknowledged as great intellectual assets of the country and have created a space of their own around the world. They are endowed with a large number of distinguished professionals and experts who have made mark both in public and private sectors of the global economy. To contribute to States prosperity in token of what the people of the state have sacrificed in recognition of their merit has been their grateful concern.

Vidya Vihar Residential School was the first ISO 9001: 2000 certified educational institution of Bihar and has earned lot of fame for its stupendou board results. A comparative study of its yearwise-results is given below.
